He is Willing to Guide You

​​It is a good idea to have a guide, and the Bible says that we have one: The Holy Spirit. God came to Abram and said, "Leave your country, your people, and your father's household, and go to the land I will show you."

God guided him to the Promised Land, and he got there safely.

Our God is a guiding God. But again, how do I recognize the Spirit's voice? We must train to hear His voice. We pray, we think about God, we meditate, and we start distinguishing His voice. Jesus said of the Good Shepherd that he goes on ahead of the sheep and they follow him because they know his voice. To have a personal relationship with God means that we must open our minds and hearts and hear His voice.

God still speaks. The Spirit still guides. The world still gets changed and transformed. People still get blessed. If you're a follower of Jesus, the Spirit is in you already, and that is your adventure as you move forward in your life. Our God is a guiding God. Let Him guide you.
